Ascend Management Academy exists because the world promotes great performers into management — and then expects them to figure it out alone. We built the program we wish every manager had.
Home / About
Ascend started in 2019 as a single workshop for twelve new managers at a midsize logistics company. The feedback was unanimous: why didn't anyone teach us this before?
We spent the next year building a full curriculum with operating leaders — not just academics — and piloted the first 12-week cohort in early 2020. It sold out in nine days.
Today, more than 4,800 managers across 38 industries have graduated from Ascend. Our alumni lead teams at companies ranging from early-stage startups to global enterprises, and our Certified Manager credential is recognized by 200+ partner employers.
— The Ascend Faculty Team
Six principles guide everything we teach — and how we teach it.
You don't learn to lead by reading about it. Every concept in our curriculum is practiced in pods, role-plays, and real workplace projects.
Our faculty have led real teams at real companies. They teach the playbooks they used — not frameworks they read in a book.
Managers learn hardest when they feel safe to be imperfect. We build cohorts where honesty is the norm, not the exception.
We measure success by what graduates achieve — promotions, retention, team engagement — not by completion counts.
Scholarships for non-profit and public-sector managers, flexible payment plans, and formats that fit working schedules.
Graduation isn't the end. Alumni get lifetime access to new playbooks, monthly masterclasses, and the alumni network.
A small, senior team — because great management training is built by great managers.
